SAN PABLO, Calif. — The San Pablo Police Department, Peregrine’s first customer, once struggled with an overwhelming volume of data scattered across multiple systems and agencies. Instead of uncovering insights, that data made it harder for personnel to find what they needed.
“I have a million points of data in our records management system,” Chief Brian Bubar said. ‘I have ALPR cameras, body-worn cameras, and surveillance cameras all layered on top of each other, but not talking to each other.”
That changed after Peregrine’s co-founders embedded with the department to develop a data integration solution. Peregrine unifies internal and external data sources into a single platform, giving officers and leadership a clear, real-time view of operations.

“Being able to have informed conversations amongst each other about what is actually occurring, and making decisions — command-level decisions, supervisor-level decisions, officer-involved decisions — in real time is incredibly powerful,” Bubar said. “It allows us to do our jobs and support each other at every level.”
