SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Spokane County school districts are partnering with the sheriff's office to strengthen campus lockdown response and safety drills.
During lockdowns and drills, real-time crime center (RTCC) operators at the Spokane County Sheriff's Office use Peregrine to monitor the situation in real time while providing live guidance and situational awareness to responding officers. The result: shorter response times in critical situations where every second counts.
This innovative partnership between law enforcement and schools reflects a growing trend in school safety technology, combining RTCC capabilities with campus security systems to protect students, staff, and first responders during emergencies.
