KANSAS CITY, Mo. (June 7, 2026) — In preparation for the FIFA World Cup 2026, the Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) is deploying Peregrine as the backbone of its fusion center, which will help the agency identify potential threats during the city’s six hosted matches.
As The Times reports, “every call, every arrest, and details of those arrests are fed into the platform, which determines whether a threat assessment needs to take place about a certain person, location, vehicle, or property.”
Peregrine’s AI-enabled technology saves police thousands of man hours on tedious, manual workflows, freeing them up to focus on field operations and other critical responsibilities.
