GRAND PRAIRIE, TX — The Grand Prairie Police Department’s Crisis Support Unit (CSU) pairs licensed clinicians with specially trained police officers to respond to mental health calls for service, ensuring community members in crisis receive the care they need when they need it most.
During a follow-up call with a local veteran in May, the CSU teamed up with Peregrine to deliver a special surprise: a home visit from Shaq.
With access to reliable, integrated data in Peregrine, GPPD can take an informed, proactive approach to mental health and crisis support for vulnerable community members.
