LOUDOUN COUNTY, Virginia, March 24, 2025 - In the first quarter of 2025, the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office (LCSO) saw a 29% decrease in serious crimes — referring to major incidents like assaults, robberies, and car thefts. LCSO Sheriff Mike Chapman told 7News how Peregrine helps the agency "constantly measure" its output.

“We can actually look day to day, minute to minute as to what our crime statistics are,” Sheriff Chapman said in the interview.

Our data integration and analysis platform features dynamic dashboards that update in real time, providing an up-to-the-minute view of the agency’s operations. Automated reporting and alerts help public safety leaders stay on top of crime trends without manual effort.

The LCSO operates as a full-service sheriff’s office, with corrections, court services, investigators, and patrol deputies. But the complexity of that work, or its direct impact, isn’t always visible to the public. Having up-to-date statistics readily available helps the agency demonstrate tangible results, build trust, and improve community relations.

Peregrine is proud to support the LCSO’s efforts to keep its community safe. Watch the full interview on ABC7’s website here
