Peregrine supports Albuquerque Police Department (APD) warrant arrests

Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina and others at APD unveiled how Peregrine “will make it easier to get more people with warrants off the street.”

Using Peregrine, warrant arrests are up – marking the first time in years that APD is clearing warrants faster than new ones are issued. Commander Aaron Jones explained that Peregrine enables his officers to “go after that worst offender, the most wanted offenders who are committing gun violence or violent crime in” Albuquerque.

Chief Medina continued: “It's more than just arresting individuals with warrants. It's about putting a big puzzle together and getting all the pieces to match one another and making sure that we're supporting all the other entities in the criminal justice system."
